Success at the WKA World Championships 2007

Members of Roentgen Wako Kai Karate and Team NAWKKA recently competed that the 2007 World Championships in Karlsruhe, Germany. It was a very successful event for our team. Results are as follows:

Rebecca Schalike - Bronze Medallist - Girls Point Fighting

Jordan Miller - Silver Medallist - Jr. Men's Continuous Fighting

Wayne Morris - Gold Medallist - Veteran Men's Kumite

Congratulations to all members that competed.

Many of our student also hold National titles

Helen Schroeder Gold Medal Point Sparring 12 year olds

Jordan Miller Gold Medal Continuous Fighting 17 year olds

Wayne Morris Gold Medal Kumite 40 years and over

Paul Mercer Gold Medal Kumite 35 year olds

The YMCA Shiai November 25th 2007 was a great success because of the

support given by Shian Jeff Burroughs and Shihan Barry Lane,

thank you both.

I special thanks goes to Sensei Krista and Senei Karen for there hard work

helping me put it together they did a great job.

Thanks to all the students and instructors that came out

to have fun and compete without you there is no Shiai,
